General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms could be due to balanitis, fungus infection, STD infection. I would suggest to consult dermatologist and undergo examiantion, urethral swab test, KOH mount, STD screening test to confirm cause.

Specific treatment will depend on cause. Doctor will give following advises:

- Apply Bacitracin and candid ointment.
- Avoid sweats in affected area and maintain proper hygiene. Use antibacterial soap. Tablet Doxycycline will cover all the possible infection. Tablet Fluconazole for fungal infection.
- Maintain proper pelvic hygiene and use condom during sex.

Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.

Best regards,
Dr. Sagar
