hi doctor, my daughter aged 4+ is having wax in her ear which irritates her and makes her dig with her finger often. i got an ear drop from a doctor to soften it but it took her two weeks time and two bottle of ear drops have finished but her wax is still harden. what is the solution? thanks.
I suggest softening the wax using the ear drops. Then you should use warm water. After a day or two, when the wax is softened, use a rubber bulb syringe to gently squirt warm water into the ear canal. Dry your ear canal.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
