Suggest Treatment For Retinal Tear

I have a question regarding macular degeneration and retinal tears.. My mother has been diagnosed with retinal tear and in the process they also discovered AMD. They are interested in treating the AMD, but have not said anything more about the retinal tear. I thought the tear would be more concerning.

Hi,

For macular degeneration fundus autofluorescence is treatment of choice. Recent retinal tears are treated by laser therapy. You need to consult an ophthalmologist for specific treatment.
