Suggest Treatment For Ringworm Infection During Pregnancy
HI, i am 6 months pregnant, i am suffering from ringworm problem since last 4 months. I have consulted My doctor she has given me some cream but that is not effective at all. Initially, ringworm was on my near virginal area now is getting spread in my body. Please recommend me some good cream or medicine.
I would advise you to take the topical (cream/lotion/ointment) Azole antifungals such as Miconazole or Clotrimazole for the eradication of the fungal infection.
Topical Azoles are not or are minimally absorbed and hence unlikely to cause any harmful effects in your unborn child, thus they can be used at any stage of pregnancy.
Use this medication twice daily, keep the area dry and neat, use loose cotton underwear, etc.
Hope this will help.
