Suggest Treatment For Runny Nose And Sore Throat

I have had a very bad cold , with sneezing , runny nose and sore throat for the last week but the last two days , i have had very sore ears where feels like going deaf but if u swallow or hold nose and breath out sort of clears a little. I have been taling over the counter flu tablets and normal parecetamal and sudafed for me ears but not seeming to get any better. Any advice as have to back to work on monday ?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain cold , with sneezing , runny nose and sore throat seems to be due to common cold that is a viral infection causing upper respiratory tract infection and sore ears with reduced hearing seems to be due to infection in ears along with fluid accumulation in the ears that is causing congested ears and reduced hearing that goes better on holding nose and breathing out..

Nothing to worry as it will gradually improve..
As of now if you till have cold symptoms you can take a combination of decongestant like Phenylephrine, mucolytic like Ambroxol and anti allergic levocetrizine and another combination of Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen,do warm saline gargles,do steam inhalations,avoid spicy and chilled foods,sip on warm water throughout the day..
For ears you can do decongestant nasal sprays like Oxymetazoline or Xylometazoline and will help in clearing of the ears..
Put Otogesic ear drops..
