Hi
Welcome to the HCM

I understand your concerns but don't worry. Running nose and mild coryza in this age group are due to self limiting viral infections. They need just symptomatic treatment, good diet, hydration and rest. It impoves within a period of 2-3 weeks.

So, kindly avoid any of the medications at present. Use nasal suction and normal saline drops 3-4 times a day. A room humidifier while sleeping if the weather is dry will be useful.

Hopefully this will help you.
Take care
