Suggest Treatment For Rupturing Blood Vessels On My Pudenda Inspite Of Being Obese

Dr. Rogala, I am a 70 yr old obese woman, I have had for several years the symptom of rupturing blood vessels on my pudenda. I can t find a term or even a description of this health problem anywhere on the internet. So I am consulting you for an answer as to what it is and how it can be treated. I don t want to be seen by my doctor for this problem unless I am comatose. It is very imbarrassing I won t get any test that requires an exam. I m rediculous about my weight problem, I know, but will avoid anyone seeing me naked as long as possible.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read facts of your query and reviewed it in context to your query health issues.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query the reply of your query is-
You seem to suffer from Pudenda's Varicosity-with incompentent large draining -long saphenous veins where in the external pundendal vein drains.
USG with Color Doppler Study would help to assess the incompetent and perforator communicating veins in vulval and perineal Veins.
Do's-
Consult Vascular Surgeon and assess the cause of these Varicose veins in vulval and perineal veins.
Other causes of such bleeding need to be ruled out by Consulting Surgeon and Vascular Surgeon by Doing USG with Color doppler of the External and internal iliac vein system.
Rule out possibility of Pelvic Venous Insufficiency.
Don't be shy and get embarrased to get examined with your doctor.
Obesity could be aggravating cause for such complaint.Obesity does not protect you from getting Varicose Veins of the Pudenda- or of the Vulva and perineal region.
Get CT pelvis with Contrast study to overcome embarrasment of physical examinaition of the private parts.
EVLT -EndoVenousLaser Treatment- with foam Sclerotherapy is the final answer to resolve this recurrent bleeding vessels from your pudenda.
While preparing for Surgery Strong doses of Phlebotonic drugs -as Daflon /hisperidine/ diosmin -would reduce the bleeding episodes.
Just don't worry and be patient and co-operate with your doctors, till you verify with your attending doctors.
Need to Check with Vascular Surgeon with Varicose Vein -specialist if need be, if things don't recover.

-Other causes need to be verified with your family GP doctor and team of -Vascular Surgeon-Specialist doctors, as the facts may be different what you submitted.

-For this Second opinion from Vascular Surgical specialist-is needed who would do proper investigation after proper physical assessment to resolve your health issues.
-for early recovery-please follow above do's which would resolve your complex health issues.

Hope this would help you to treat your health issues in the best way possible.

Welcome for any further query in this regard.
Good Day!!
