Hi,

I have been repeatedly picking off a scab in one general area of the scalp and the skin now has become bumpy and inflamed. (I have also picked off the hair in the area due to my actions)



I have taken a picture of the area and there are hairs less than 1mm growing out from the area. I have stopped picking and scratching the area and the bump has gone down quit abit (and is pinkish in colour while it was redish before)



If I just leave the area alone will the hairs grow back? I am worried I might have damaged the hair follicles in that area.
