Suggest Treatment For Scanty Growth Of Klebsiella Pneumoniae
I had a swab test today and result showed scanty pus cells, no GC seen but moderate mixed organisams. STD wet prep starting showed scanty pus cells, no clue cells, no trichomonas and no yeast. summary is klebsiella pneumoniae scanty growth. It is resistant to a number of antibiotics except ampicillin hence am now on ciprofloxacin for 14days starting today. I am worried. What is happening to me. I had a full blood count last friday and everything read normal. I was with my mom on hospital admission for one week and on return, I felt the need to run the tests. Had no strange symptom prior to the tests.
Swab is taken from which part of body? And are you male or female but in my opinion you are female and this is vaginal swab, right? Then I can tell more actually just take full course of antibiotics and repeat swab test and may take symptomatic treat too. Learn breathing exercises as low immunity is also one cause of infection it can raise immunity eat multivitamins and antioxidants too.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
