Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a sabasious cyst removed from my cheek in my face. It was surgically removed from the inside of my mouth and was about the size of a cherry tomato. It was two weeks ago and the swelling is all gone. But it still feels solid and basically the same size as before but now with a tiny dimple in the center. Did the dr not remove everything? I was expecting a gaping hole verses this?
After any surgical excision, there may certain induration because surgery in itself is a sort of trauma and inflammation takes at least 6weeks to resolve completely.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Syed Tehmid,
General & Family Physician
