I have grandma seizures since I ve been 18yrs old, was taking depakote delayed release 500mg 5 x Dailey ( 3 morn. - 2 night ) then after 28 yrs on it I changed ins. And started me on generic brand but dr. Made mistake and put me on depakote 500mg extended release by accident, I kept telling pharmacy and Drs. That I felt sick at my stomach and was having more seizures than ever ( one a week ). I found out that I was given the wrong medicine when I insisted my dr. Give me the brand name ( after taking wrong type for 1 1/2 yr ) . I was having Diarrhea for 15 days and finally went in the hospital with acute pancreatitis for 11 days. They determined that I had an allergic reaction to depakote and switched me to keppra. i was not having seizures but was bouncing off the walls, I didn t know if was going off depakote or the side effect of keppra that gave me the major bipolar systems but then after two months no seizures but bipolar crazy I was put on tegretol along with the keppra and taken off the Zoloft the pychirigist gave me 2 mo. Ago. I am having extreme muscle tractions in the legs arms and shoulders, I thought I had another seizure but didn t bite my tongue like I normaly do and I don t know what to do? I m scared to death
