Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

I will suggest you to ask your son to give medicines (anti-epileptics) to his son very regularly even when he has no symptoms. His epilepsy will come to an end as there is no primary focus on MRI brain. Once he is symptoms free for at least 3 years then he can be given a trial to leave medicines. Good compliance is key to success. Other wise he might get a hypoxic brain injury, or a serious traumatic injury.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammad Faisal Bacha, Internal Medicine Specialist
