For the past 10 months, I have had many problems with my right foot and ankle. It started as an achilles strain. It gradually got worse over a month and became severe achilles tendinitis. I was put in a boot for 1.5 months, as well as 2 months of extensive physical therapy. My foot doctor wanted me to quit physical therapy in the last week as it was not helping at all. I also got dry needling done. I was given a 6 day steroid pack, which didn t help either. My foot pops all the time. There are small pops that happen about 1 time to every 4 steps. Big, loud, very painful pops happen once an hour or so. I had an MRI done, and they found abnormal findings. Spots scattered all in my foot and ankle. Tendinitis in my posterior tibial tendons. Tendinosis as well. They thought it was transient osteoporosis, but they had big doubts since I am 13. And doubts because of my situation. We got a third opinion. None of my doctors have found out what is wrong. This has been going on since mid November of 2015. It all started while starting basketball season. I quit all sports, and would like to get back on the volleyball courts very soon.
