my age 32, female, i have irregular periods problem since last 2 years, i had treatment for irregular period 1 yrs before it make my period regular and stop the medicine but since 6 to 7 months again the problem start i got lots of acne on my face now i consult with skin specialist doctor she had given me isotrin 20 mg tablet and minoz od tablets for everyday consumption for my acne treatment, skin specialist doctor given oxy acne treatment but after that also acne appearing on my face doctor told me to consult gynecologist. gynecologist given me medicine primolut-n. now the question is should consume all three medicine at a time or should i stop consuming isotroin 20mg and minoz od till my irregular treatment is going on
Irregular period along with acne on face are probably due to hormonal imbalance. I suggest you to consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment and relevant investigations which would include hormonal levels. Correction of hormonal imbalance is expected to correct recurrent acne problem. In the meanwhile you can apply topical ointment for acne problem.
