Hello,
Welcome to health care magic.
If you are having
chronic acne problem and you have tried almost all possible doctors but the important thing is to diagnose the acne and its stage.
The best way to approach is to start on an empirical oral antibiotic for minimum 5 to 7 days (
Amoxycillin 500mg in combination with
clavulanic acid 125 mg daily three times or cephalexin 500mg twice daily or cefadroxil 500mg twice daily).
This would take care of the infection of the acne or pimple.
Antibiotics should be taken up to 7 days to produce a noticeable improvement.
An OTC antibacterial cream/ointment e.g azelic acid or
clindamycin can be applied twice daily.
An OTC pain killer e.g ibuprofen once or twice daily would help you deal with the pain and reduce swelling and discomfort.
For
skin whitening or dark acne marks, you can use kojic acid based preparations like kojic acid soap or kojic acid cream.
Also take vitamin C and vitamin E which is also helpful to whiten the darker skin areas.
Avoid excess sun exposure. You can use sunscreens on sun exposing parts to avoid tanning also.
There are other preparations like
hydroquinone and tretinoin (Melabest 2% cream) but has several side effects and it should be used under the supervision of
dermatologist only.
Hope this will help you.
Thanks and Regards,
