Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Severe Back Pain: My wife has problem of severe back pain. She has deleivered a child 4 months back, also she is feeding the child. Other symptoms are ok. No fever, or loss of apetite...She has consulted with Orthopedic also...has taken ultra soni physiotherapy also.....but no gain. Please help.
Hi, I have gone through your question and noted the symptoms. It is common to have mild back pain immediately after delivery but however I notice that it is continuing and also has become more severe. I would like to know more about the pain in order to arrive at a diagnosis. Meanwhile it would help to have a MRI taken of your spine too, to check for any other causes of the pain. I would suggest you to discuss with the doctor on the possibility of starting pain medications and also continuing your physiotherapy sessions.
