Suggest Treatment For Severe Chest Pain Despite Taking Gabapentin
My husband has SCA and a heart attack last October 2015. He still struggles with intense chest pain from the CPR. They did not diagnose his with broken ribs at the time of his heart attack, but I don t know if they actually checked anything. The pain is so intense it makes it hard for him to sleep at night. Any recommendations? His PCP just seems to be dismissive - although he did prescribe gabapentin which has not been effective. Thank you

Consult a physician and get evaluated. An ECG can be taken to rule out cardiac causes.
You can opt for higher analgesics like tramadol for pain management.
