Suggest Treatment For Severe Chest Pain

Hello I am 18 years old and have hypoplastic right heart syndrome among other sever heart defects now fixed my question is I have had a new variation of chest pain for the past. Few days in my left peck. It s a Doll wave or pulse of more discomfort than pain that last anywhere from 5-30 sec. I also just started a new job a few weeks ago lifting heavy bags. So could the pain be more muscle strain or a cardiac issue. Thank you. Steve

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The pain of cardiac issue is at the time of exertion and relieved immediately at rest. But due to recent strenuous activity, pain may be muscular also. Now you need complete cardiac evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi, General & Family Physician
