General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As first line management, you can take antihistamines like Cetirizine for symptomatic relief. Expectorant cough syrups can also be tried to clear excess mucus. If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and start antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
