Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough And Breathlessness When Recovering From UTI
My mother is having uti for which magnes forte 1.5 mg twice a day she is having very sticky saliva with cough I ave been giving her diolin and budicort respules twice still some time she is having serve cough with breathless ness can I give her budicort and diolin when ever she has that problem
The productive cough may be due to different causes such as: (1) acute infection such as a flu or cold (2) sinus disease with a post nasal drip of mucus (3)due to her asthma
The budicort inhaler is a preventer medication to stop wheezing and shortness of breath, it would not be helpful when the shortness of breath is already present.
The other inhaler would be the reliever inhaler which is to be used at this point, when a person is short of breath. She needs to use this inhaler to help her at the moment.
If there is no relief with the inhaler or her symptoms are worsening , she needs to be taken to see her doctor as soon as possible for treatment
I hope this helps
