Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough

Hello doc, I am suffering from severe coughing for the past 2 to 3 yrs. After several test I was diagones with deviated nasal septum and maxillary sinus hypertrophy on the right side. A lot of phleg, gets generated which results in coughing. Pls advise if this can be permanently cured by ayurvedic med

The association of the cough with mucus production implies it may be related to post nasal drip.

This is the most common cause for chronic coughing.The other common causes are asthma and GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease).

Traditionally treatment involves the use of topical steroid nasal sprays and oral antihistamines.
Avoiding the allergen causing the reaction, if it is known, is also important.
