Suggest Treatment For Severe Cramps When Diagnosed With Dysmenorrhea
Hello.. I suffer from dysmenorrhea and sometimes end up in A&E with terrible cramps.. I am now taking 3mg of torodol under the tongue, and it is helping but I can t more torodol for another 12 hours.. Can I take 5mg of Valium?will it work, because in the hospital they gave me a drip with toradol and valium(I think)thank you,amanda
Hi, Welcome to HCM, I read your query carefully. As per details, You are suffering from dysmenorrhea if I will be your treating Doctor I would Advise you to take - Naproxen 500mg twice a day after meal - Place hot water bottle or heating pad at you back or lower abdomen - Take one glass of hot milk with 1 table spoon in it. These will give you symptomatic relief and you will feel better. I will not recommend you to take valium for Dysmenorrhea. Hope so it will be helpful.
