Suggest Treatment For Severe Ear Infection And Throat Pain
My chest is hurting very badly right in between my breasts. My throat is also hurting very bad. I live with my granny who is a very heavy smoker. She leaves for weeks at a time for her job. When she is home, I have gotten an ear infection twice due to the smoke. She just came back home 2 days ago. She s such a heavy smoker, that today when I came home at 3:30 from work she was constantly smoking a cigarette. There were NO breaks. It s 9:00 pm and she has finally taken a break. I want to know if the pain I m feeling is due to too much second hand smoke. The pain is not going away. And it started a few hours ago and is only getting worse. Please help.
Passive smokingparalyses the cells that clear the airways and might affect the immune system and your lungs quite similar to if you smoked yourself so it might be playing a role in your symptoms.
On the other hand you will need a virus to cause the symptoms, to start the damages of the airway mucosa so very likely you are having a viral infection which is worsened due to passive smoking.
I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
