Suggest Treatment For Severe Ear Pain And Sore Throat

Hi, my son is 13 and complaining about severe pain in his right ear. He had a sore throat two days ago, but it has subsided some. The sharp ear pain was directly after sneezing. It's clear it's not just a normal earache. He's in bad shape. Urgent care clinic opens tomorrow at 9am. What do you recommend for tonight?

i have read your query.Ear infections are a more common problem for infants and children.apply a warm compress or heating pad to the affected ear. Heat can also free up any liquids that are caught behind earwax in the ear, helping them to drain.Ibuprofen or acetaminophen are can be given if the pain does not go.an ear drop with painkiller can be given.don give aspirin for pain as aspirin in children under the age of 18 has been linked to Reye's syndrome.
