Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
yes. thank you. I have been having a pretty severe pain from the esophagus, between the breast bones, in the bones under my right breast around to middle of back. Along with patches of bumps that at times are red & itchy & other times I cannot see the rash but do feel that there is still a rash.
Rash below the breast could be intertrigo which occurs due to the accumulation of sweat in the region leaving it moist and vulnerable to the growth of yeast.
As for the pain described, I do suspect a gastric condition (e.g. gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, etc.). So please visit a gastroenterologist and also go about a few precautionary measures like: avoid spicy, oily, fried and fatty food; drink plenty of water; avoid smoking and alcohol; have 5-6 smaller meals instead of 2-3 larger ones to avoid overeating; and use an antacid like ranitidine or omeprazole 15 minutes before each meal.
Best wishes.
