Suggest Treatment For Severe Fatigue And Dizziness

Hi Dr, I am constantly fatigued to the point where I feel faint, I have been feeling like this for a couple of weeks. I do sleep enough and nothing in my diet has changed. I try to eat healthy and stay away from fast foods but still get dizzy quickly and faint

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared if fainting episodes involve complete loss of consciousness so must be evaluated, with detailed neurological examination as well as to see for any cardiac-related issues like abnormal heart ryhtym with baseline EKG or holter monitoring.

Generalized weakness causes should be ruled out with hemoglobin levels, serum electrolytes, sugar levels as well as thyroid profile for any metabolic cause. Treatment should be based accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
