Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache

I am a healthy 39 year old female. I have no history of Migraines. As a child, I was not and am not a sickly person. However, I have been awokened in the middle of the night or awakened each day for 8 days with a major headache. I am light sensitive, no so much as to noise. I have spent 4 of the last 8 days in bed shutting out all light and the world. The really painful ones are proceeeded by flashing light pattern, nauseau and I smelt something burning on one ocassion. The nauseau led to dry-heaves today! I also noticed that one nostril was stuffy. I have had numerous tests on my neck, spine, head and been seen by a neurologist for chronic pain which seems to come from up inside my skull up from the back of my neck. The neck muscles do not hurt. They find nothing wrong. Taking pain relievers does not work as it takes a great deal to phase me as I seem to be immune to them! Any suggestions to my puzzle?
