Suggest Treatment For Severe Insomnia

I have been struggling to sleep for around six years. If I go to bed without any pill, I stay up till morning. Pills so far I have tried include Lexatonil 3mg, Dormicum 7.5mg, Nightus 3mg, Tenaxit ,Tryptin 25mg, Disopan 0.5 & 1 mg and Sedil 5mg. All these were prescribed by different doctors and none of those worked well for long. I need to mention that I m a smoker and kind of addict to tea and coffee.Even if I don t drink tea or coffee, I can t sleep. Also, when I can t sleep for one single entire day, I can t sleep on the very next night. Now, what can I try this time? I want something which would work on me and won t be too addictive. Response from any doctor would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Drugs like zolpidem can be taken for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
