Suggest Treatment For Severe Left Flank Pain And Kidney Stones
Uroligist question I am a lsdy age 63 I have been passed. small kidney stones for years. had mamy stents in my left kidney severall utis requiring hospital trestment Had stent in left kidney in Feb last then got large stone in right kidnry pasded it in hospital have had two stones since last one 4th June last all calcium oxalate stones Today I have sevete. Left flank pain frequently pssding ursine with blood in it.Plesse help Mary Jo

It would appear that you have another kidney stone with the bloody urine and left flank pain that you have. 1. The best initial thing you can do is start to hydrate and drink lots of water, this really does help. 2. You should also be on high calcium diet which helps bind the oxalate crystals in your stomach and pass them in your stools and not in your urine. 3. Avoid foods rich in oxalate which include beets, spinach, chocolate and soy products. 4. Reduce the amount of salt you use and use a salt substitute if your must.
