You have an abnormality in your urinary tract somewhere that is causing the urine to back up and create swelling in your kidneys and the tubes emptying them into the bladder. This is what is causing the pain. The next step is to figure out what the abnormality causing the swelling is. It could be a blockage somewhere along the urinary tract, kidney dysfunction, or even cancer. You need to have further testing to figure out the cause. The specialist you want to see for this would be a urologist. They can do specialized testing looking directly at the inside of the bladder and urinary tract to figure it out. Hope this helps.
