Suggest Treatment For Severe Lower Back And Hip Pain

Hi, not long ago I was using the bathroom. When I reached behind me I felt a big pop in my lower back or hip area. Since then it hurts to roll over in bed, go from sitting to standing. I can hardly get out of bed by myself. What does this sound like could have happened?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Low back pain and hip pain are common symptoms seen in people suffering from osteoarthritis.A sound followed by pain is common when the articular surfaces of bones at joints are wearing out and flexibility reduced. This is common in osteoarthritis. I will advise you go on pain/antiinflammatory medications like aceclofenac or ibuprofen. If the pain persist, you will need to see a Rheumatologist for evaluation and for other treatment option like steroid shots to be evaluated.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
