Suggest Treatment For Severe Lower Back Pain And Tiredness

I am having left foot and toe numbness post knee replacement (7 weeks). I also had a gastric bypass in 2007. I am also having lower back pain post accident 2014. Orthopedic surgeon states numbness is not related to knee replacement. I am being referred to a back doctor since this pain is related to the lower back. Could this be neuropathy related to gastric bypass this far out (almost 9 years)? After surgery (knee) I experienced tiredness, loss of appetite and weakness. I stopped taking my vitamins 10 days prior to surgery.b

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is not likely related to the gastric bypass surgery.

You would need to consider taking a look at the lower back if the surgeon states it is not related to the knee surgery though you may want to have a second opinion about that possibility.

I hope this helps
