Suggest Treatment For Severe Nausea And Right Quadrant Pain
I have cervical precancer and hx of ovarian cysts that resulted in surgery. I had a horrible period last week with severe nausea and fatigue and have had dark discharge ever since. Went to ER last night after vomiting blood. Feel sick again now with lower right quadrant pain like I did with previous cysts. Should I go back to the ER or let it play out? Labs and BP were normal last night.
* As per my clinical experience, the issue of severe pain lower abdomen, dark discharge per vagina indicates worsening immune response to cancer cells.
* Secondary bacterial infection must be ruled our priorly with complete hemogram, culture report of vaginal discharge and blood sugar level.
* As there is vomiting of blood, GI compromise to major level as that of require an ER visit with hemodnamic stability approach and simultaneous evaluation with upper GI scopy, CT abdomen or else.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
