Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Right Hip And Labral Tear
Recent right hip arthograph. My husband had a right hip arthograph to see if he had a labral tear they do not show a labral tear but the radiologist did indicate.... Indeterminant T2 hyperintense lesions within both posterior iliac bones with surroundig marrow edema. Metastic disease or myeloma cannot be excluded. What does this all mean. He is only 34 and every doctor he goes to says he is to young for anything. But he has very vabd pain in his right hip and at times he can barely even walk.
As per my surgical experience, the severe pain in right hip with labral tear is most likely responsible for intense pain and inability to walk. My guidelines at present: - Local application of heating pad - Use analgesic spray or ointment with Diclofenac or Linseed oil 3 times a day - Avoid direct pressure baring, use walker instead for support - Control of blood sugar - Oral tablet of tramadol hydrochloride with acetaminophen after meals if no history of drug sensitivity
Do take time to share your MRI plates during follow up discussion.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
