I just had a ct scan and vaginal ultrasound and they found a 2.2 cm ovarian cyst and I m in a significant amount of pain on my bladder and left ovary. I keep getting told everything is normal but I can t get past the pressure on my bladder. I m confused. If this is nothing to worry about then why am I feeling this way?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can take drugs like Mefenamic Acid for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
