Suggest Treatment For Severe Restless Leg Syndrome And Neuropathy, TMJ And Dystonia

Thank you. I am a healthy 71 year old except that I have pretty severe restless leg syndrome and neuropathy. I do not have diabetes. I have had the RLS since I was thirteen. It seems that I am sensitive to chemical changes in My body and outside chemicals such as bug spray, cleaning supplies, and others. As of late, I can not tolerate sugar and sit still. The most mysterious symptom is that most of my symptoms are on the left side. At times I both sides are restless.. I have have had many diagnoses such as TMJ, Dystonia. Most meds make it worse including antidepressants, which once helped, but are no longer something I can tolerate. I do have depression, but am able to function now socially and productively by taking Tramadol, but of course it doesn't cover my day so I am juggling doses to be active. A long story I know, but things are getting worse and I am at a loss for what to do. Also interesting is that my body pulls on the left and surgeons have told me that my organs seem to be toward the left side of my body. :) Help!

Hello there
It would have been better if you had mentioned your sex. As the symptoms told by you are more common in post menopausal women
I would be presuming that you are a woman
due to the hormonal imbalance and vitamin diffeciency associated with smoking these symptoms are aggravated
what you can do is start taking diet rich in phytoestrogens and ask your doctor to prescribe you gabapentin and methycobalamine and pentoxifylline
They help reduce rls
and take calcium supplementation and vitamin d and vitamin e
as far as tram adolescent use is there you can try the newer molecules like the combination of tramadol with paracetamol or the extended release form of tramadol
if u still have any query feel free to write again and ask me
Dr devesh
