Suggest Treatment For Severe Sore Throat, Cold Symptoms And Slight Fever

woke up wed. with sore throat continued to get worse really bad fri. coughed a lot and general lack of energy after sprays and cough drops got a little better sat. but had head cold symptoms that night coughed real hard had to sleep in chair in warm room has settled into chest and couching up whitish yellowish stuff and have slight fever. and still in head with hoarseness drainage and pain in top of head when I cough

As per your complain it seems that it started with upper respiratory tract infection or cold which has progressed to lower respiratory tract and causing conditions like Bronchitis, lung infection, COPD etc which is leading to severe cough and phlegm..
I would suggest you to consult a Pulmonologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like chest x ray, throat swab culture and sputum culture along with complete blood picture can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
Yu can be given a course of antibiotics along with a combination of decongestant like Phenylephrine, mucolytic like Ambroxol and anti allergic levocetrizine and another combination of Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen..
Cough expectorant containing Gueifenesin and cough suppressant containing Dextromethorphan can be given..
Gargle with a warm saline solution that is by mixing 1 teaspoon salt in a glass of water and warm it to make a luke warm solution..
Do steam inhalations..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods..
Sip on warm water throughout the day..
