Suggest Treatment For Severe Stomach Pain With Heartburn

Hi, I have stomach pain (high) that is connected to burping/heartburn. It is a throbbing pain and has been bad for over 24 hours, but started a bit before that to a lesser degree. I also had orange urine last night only and I had taken a multi vitimin earlier that day and peptobismol that eveniing.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello and thanky ou for asking HCM,

I understand your concern and considering that the pain does not stop even when taking pills, I suggest you to visit your GP as soon as possible. It might be connected with your stomach (a very bad gastritis, peptic ulcer or oesophageal reflux). But it can also be connected with your liver and galdbladder.
In some cases, orange urine can indicate a problem with your liver or bile duct, especially if you also have light-colored stools. Orange urine may also be caused by dehydration, which can concentrate your urine and make it much deeper in color.
Until you visit your doctor try to take a proton pump inhibitor (omeprazole for example), it is much stronger than peptobismol.
I hope this answer was helpful to you.
