Suggest Treatment For Severe Swelling In Legs, arms And Stomach Due To Meth.

My sister is 44 years old,5ft 2 inches weighs 187lbs and she does meth! She has always been very active and healthy. She had a second child 6 years ago and has had physical problems every since(such as) can't loose the weight no matter how much exercise or dieting she does. Now she has been having severe swelling in her feet legs and stomach areas. Well basically swelling everywhere, she has gained 34 lbs in 4 months and she doesn't eat much. Her feet and legs are badly swollen to the point she can't get her shoes on. She has had multiple blood tests done, a blood clot test and a echocardiogram and everything has come back normal. I am really worried about her can you give me an idea what it might be? The doctors she is seeing seem clueless?

She had a negative echo and negative bloodwork. hmm. That's good. Usually the "swelling everywhere" is from the heart not being able to pump anymore. It still could be that and it only occurs during smoking meth and blood pressure going to double normal during the meth. But, less likely. Also, could be renal disease which WILL occur during meth use. BUT in both of these cases the TEMPORARY effects for fluid retention reverse between meth uses.
Liver or lung toxicity are the other two. BLOOD ALBUMIN LEVEL would show if it is liver problems...ok.... the low albumin level CAUSES the swelling because there isn't anything to hold in the fluid and it seeps out. Lung or liver disease block the flow of blood through those organs and the fluid builds up.
