Suggest Treatment For Shingles Around The Legs

I have a friend who has shingles for 2 years and has been told that other than pain mess, there is not much they can do for him. His shingles he has been told is under his skin and rund down his leg. Is this true? Or if it is true, can he get any help other than pain mess?

If this was the viral infection the this may cause for log time and this may not need any specific treatment once the pain being tolerated then this would be not problem and neither this could anything danger, take care.
