General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The description you have given most likely suggestive of encephalitis caused by shingles. Unfortunately, it is a life-threatening condition and supportive care is required.

Admit him in a tertiary care center for expert management. Supportive care and antiviral drugs are the mainstays of the treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
