HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The pain associated with shingles can be severe and sometimes difficult to treat.

There are other pain medications that she may be able to try that may be helpful.

Examples are lyrica, gabapentin, tegretol, amitriptyline. These medications have many different uses including treating nerve related pain.

She may also want to consider the shingles vaccine, this may prevent future episodes.

I hope this helps
