Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I fell on my elbow last night skating and immediately felt something wrong with my shoulder. It wasn't the first time but this time it was more painful than ever. I skated another 2 hours with no signs of serious issues but when got home and relaxed ,it became more and more painful. Can't lift my arm in any way too much, even the muscle in the middle of my shoulder hurts when push it. My arm feels "funny" . Not numb but maybe tired? Only few positions are okay to be at ,but even turning n bed giving me sever pain. Our insurance just run out and can't afford to see the doctor right now for MRI...
Due to blunt injury there can be hematoma collection around elbow and arm .. Do ice application, and thrombhophobe ointment may help and give rest to elbow. You can apply crepe bandage for support.
You may need X ray of elbow to rule out any minor fracture.
