Hi! Im 23 years old. I used minoxidil 5% when my doctor prescribed for hairloss and hairthinning. I usef it for 2 months. I could not see any change and my hairfall increased. I was scared and quit using it. Now the hairfall has doubled. My scalp is visible. Will my hair get back to normal ?? Its been 6months since I quit using minoxidil. Plz suggest me medicines doctor.

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Minoxidil is helpful for male pattern hair loss. This should be used for at least 4 months to start getting benefits. It should be continued also. If you want to stop then you have to wean it off gradually. Applying capixyl gel is also good. It is also advised to used ketoconazole shampoo weekly twice.
