Suggest Treatment For Sinus Infection And Cold Sores

I was treated for a sinus infection several weeks ago shortly afterwards I developed a bump on my outer bottom lip. My doctor says it s a cold sore, which I have never had in my life. There is no pain itching or tingling. I was prescribed acyclovir for two days with no progress. What else could this be?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, history of sinus infection and swelling of lip may not be related, such swelling could be nonspecific and this need to be kept under observation for any changes, this may get alright on its own, if this does not then clinical examination and investigation may be necessary, take care and have a nice day.
