Suggest Treatment For Sinus Infection

I went to the doctor for a sinus infection. She prescribed amoxicillin 500mg and Claritin-d. The next morning I am not getting any better after 3 doses of each. I now have a knot on the side of my neck. And my hole left side of my face hurts. Should I go back to the doctor or just give the medicine time to work. .

Dear thanks for the question.

I would advise you to complete the treatment of three or five days (as per doctor's advise), as it takes some time. By today you will start feeling relief, as treatment is in correct direction. If no relief on completion of treatment go for swab culture and sensitivity for antibiotics. Keep taking plenty of fluids (not cold).

However knot in neck is not related to this. It is a muscle pull. You need to take pain killers (zerodol plus) and heat therapy for 2-3 days.
