Suggest Treatment For Sleep Disorders

Hello, I am 23 year old, male, 6 feet in height, weight 79kgs. I am having sleep disorders for last one year. I go to bed, very sleepy, and then my mind comes up with random thoughts(not always negative) and then I am wide awake. It generally persists for a week or so on a continuous basis. Please advice.

Hello
Welcome to HCM.

I have gone through your query thoroughly. You keep wondering about some things and the thoughts keep coming and you are then unable to sleep.
Such kind of thought ruminations are suggestive of some anxiety states.

There are some medications which will help you to sleep. You can take tablet ativan 2mg in night.

Also you can practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing, meditation, yoga etc.

Avoid day time naps. Dont have coffee, tea alcohol at bedtime. Your room should be tidy and bed comfortable. Take bath with warm water before sleep. Quit smoking or alcohol if you take.

Hope this helps you.
Thanks.
