Suggest Treatment For Small Growth On Right Tonsil
hello. i have a little growth on my right tonsil. it is not discolored and is not white or red. no other area of my throat seems to be affected. it just feels like something is caught in my throat. i noticed it yesterday and it is just now beginning to cause some soreness in my throat. i gargled with salt water. any suggestions as to what it might be or what i should do?
Looking at your symptoms, you might be suffering from infection of the tonsil or tonsillar abscess. If I am your treating doctor, I would have prescribed a course of antibiotics like Cefixime, Analgesic like Ibuprofen (if you are not alleric), and Antacid (like Rantac), Vitamin tablet containing B-complex and vitamin C.
Also do warm saline gargles. Avoid spicy and oily food. I hope I have answered your query. If after taking the above measures, your symptoms are not improving, then it would be advisable to consult an Otolaryngologist Doctor.
I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
