Suggest Treatment For Soar Throat

i've been having a soar throat for about 5 weeks now. I already seen an ENT and he used his scope and said it a little red and that it was acid reflux. I don't buy that. I think he just did not know what caused the redness. I did endure EXTREME stress and some depression with work, but that was 2 month ago. My regular voice is 98% unaffected, but my falsetto voice(im a singer) is breaking up and high range goes out intermittently. I'm afraid i may have cancer.

Regarding your query for sore throat and it's treatment, I would like to tell you about diseases having sore throat as presenting symptom. These are-

1- Pharyngitis.

2- Recurrent tonsillitis.

3- Sinusitis.

4- Adenoiditis and nasopharyngeal mass.

5- GERD (gastro esophageal reflex disease).

6- Vocal nodule and laryngitis.

Above are the common causes of sore throat and that can be differentiated by clinical examination and relevent investigations. This all will be possible only after consultation with ENT doctor and treatment may be plan according to diagnosis.
