Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Sinus Pain And Frontal Headache

Hello I recently woke up snorted and pulled out darkish red chunky blood clots from my sinuses. no caughing symtoms, no nose bleeds just somewhat of a sore throat, deep sinus pain with frontal headaches. Recently sleeping has been very difficult and I feel tired all the time even though I feel Ive got a decent amount of sleep. whats going on here?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from Maxillary as well as Frontal Sinusitis and leading to sinus pains and headache..
Sore throat seems to be due to post nasal drip causing infection in throat.
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can advise you a PNS View x ray or MRI of sinuses to confirm the cause..
For sinusitis he can advise you to take a course of antibiotics like Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants like Phenylephrine, anti allergics like Allegra, steam inhalations, saline nasal irrigations and decongestant nasal sprays..
While sleeping sleep with head slightly raised and chin down to ease the drainage and prevent congestion..
Avoid air conditions environment to prevent congestion..
For sore throat do warm saline gargles and suck throat lozenges..
Chew a Vitamin C pellet daily..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
